Qld: Worried Beattie concedes Labor could lose up to 16 seats

Queensland Premier PETER BEATTIE concedes that he could lose up to 16 seats or more
in the state election.

Announcing a multi-million dollar injection into Queensland's health system, Mr BEATTIE
has revealed he is worried about how Labor will do in the February the 7th vote.

A poll published in The Courier Mail has put Labor in the lead in two-party preferred
terms with support at 55 per cent, compared with the coalition's 45 per cent.
